How to force buttons in line with text

Hi there, I want 3 boxes on my homepage that give short descriptions and then have a button linking to other content on my site. I didn't see an option (as lists seem to pull from blogs or shop) other than creating a text box with a white background, then placing the button within. BUT this is not a sustainable option as the button moves over the text depending on the screen size. Is there code I could add to keep some consistent padding between it and my text copy so that it also stays within the white text box background?
