LiveM
Hi! I have one word I would like to break at a certain point, preferably with a hyphen. How can I do this? I've found no place to add and no settings where I can say I want the hyphenation turned on throughout the site. This is what it looks like: And here's how I want it to look (here I've just typed in a hyphen manually in the text block): Link to comment
LiveM
Got a tip from a colleague who had this quick fix: Go to a code editor, for example codepen.io Use the HTML option Type in your word and place where you want the word to break and hyphenate The preview of the word will not show the , this is hidden in the text Copy the word from the preview, and paste into your text block in Squarespace ( will still be attached, but hidden in the text) This worked in my case at least, all though I don't know if it has any unforeseen implications. omk-squarehead
I tried to use as well directly in the textbox. The solution using Codepen seems outrageously complicated to me. But at least your solution works, thanks for the hint! Link to comment
