  1. I have no intention of changing the editor toolbar. I apologise if I'm not describing my issue correctly, but It's still not clear to me whether or not it's possible with code to automatically change all P1 text to P2 (after swapping the styles between the two). I've decided to swap the styles I had set up in CSS, and change all P1 text to P2 manually afterwards. Thank you for trying though, I appreciate your help 🙂
  2. Got a tip from a colleague who had this quick fix: Go to a code editor, for example codepen.io Use the HTML option Type in your word and place where you want the word to break and hyphenate The preview of the word will not show the , this is hidden in the text Copy the word from the preview, and paste into your text block in Squarespace ( will still be attached, but hidden in the text) This worked in my case at least, all though I don't know if it has any unforeseen implications.
  3. Hi! I have one word I would like to break at a certain point, preferably with a hyphen. How can I do this? I've found no place to add and no settings where I can say I want the hyphenation turned on throughout the site. This is what it looks like: And here's how I want it to look (here I've just typed in a hyphen manually in the text block):
  4. Yes, this is the code I tried the second time, since I saw that it was the old styles that had been used in the first code. However, this new code makes all my previous P1 text change to FF-Mark-Regular, meaning, I'll have to manually go through my whole site and change all of this text to P2. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it correctly – but what I'm trying to achieve, is keeping all text exactly as it is, but changing the name of the style (i.e. P1 needs to be called P2, and vice versa). But as I've said, I'm not sure that's even remotely possible... Just a side note: Funny, but this code also changes the font of the dropdown menu to SwissWorks, when I'm in edit mode. Is that because the menu uses whatever is set as P2?
  5. Not sure if I entered the code correctly, if there's some other code I need to remove in order for it to work. But this didn't work as far as I can see. These are the old styles:P1 = 1.5rem Swiss-Works-RegularP2 = 1.5rem FF-Mark-Regular These are the new styles that I want:P1 = 1.5rem FF-Mark-Regular P2 = 1.5rem Swiss-Works-Regular I thought perhaps the font-family needed changing in the code you sent me, but that only made so that I would have to go through all content and change all P1-text to P2. Hopefully I'm missing something here? 🙂
  6. Cool! Just so that I understand you correctly – P1 and P2 can be swapped, without having to go through all content after the swap, and change P1 text to P2 (and vice versa)? These are the styles I want swapped: P1 = 1.5rem Swiss-Works-Regular P2 = 1.5rem FF-Mark-Regular If there's a code for that, that would be amazing!
  7. Hi! I've just realized, after having put in a lot of content on the site, that the default text style for paragraph text in Squarespace is P2. This explains why when pasting or writing in text it automatically styles as P2. The way I have set it up is so that P1 is the paragraph text, and P2 is a sort of "highlight" or "important" type of text. Is there a way to change the style settings for P1 and for P2, and then in some way make all text across the site that uses P1 to change to P2? Or would I have to go through every page on the site and change everything manually...? Here's how I've utilized the available styles: All styles are set in the same sans serif typeface, except for P1, which is set in a serif typeface. H1: Large heading 4.7rem (bold) H2: Medium heading 3.2rem (medium) H3: Small heading 1.9rem (medium) H4: Intro text 1.9rem (regular ) P1: Paragraph text 1.5rem (regular, serif typeface) P2: Highlight text 1.5rem (regular) P3: Paragraph text optional 1.2rem (regular) Monospace: Image captions and other details 1rem (regular) Link to site: https://hexagon-vanilla-44lx.squarespace.com
