Website Feedback :)

Hi everyone, would love some feedback on my website which is a mix of my webshop and portfolio. I recently redesigned a few things and I'm hoping that it's working well for others to use. Thanks in advance! 🙂

Not too much to say really, you have lovely illustrations and great photos to showcase them as well as your studio. Overall you've used these assets really nicely and your website simply does the job it is intended to do: show off your work and products.

The only thing I would want to streamline is the navigation, just to simplify slightly and make the experience a bit easier. I might suggest having the wholesale link just in the footer, and rearranging the about dropdown to make it clearer as to what you get from the pages, ideally it could be: About Me  |  My Shop Story  |  Contact Me (even if Contact Me is just an anchor link to the bottom of the About page).

I think this is looking lovely, so clean and easy to navigate!

The only thing I can suggest is to add Terms & Conditions and things like Returns Policies and Shipping Policies for your shop. It helps your store to appear more professional and trustworthy!

It looks like you are UK-based so you also need to be aware of GDPR and display things like a Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

I'm based in Ireland, but I do have the Privacy Policy in my Shop FAQ section which has all my shipping policies listed. Maybe it's not too clear? I have it currently in my 'shop' dropdown menu, but it may be better in my footer perhaps?

Yes, it should be clearly visible on every page of your site, so the footer is a great option! 🙂

FOLLOW MY ILLUSTRATION JOURNEY ON INSTAGRAM

On mobile, “instagram” is hyphenated. I hate that Squarespace hyphenates words. 
I’ve been using that newer text feature that keeps text as one line.

You can disable hyphenation with this Custom CSS:
