Direct sites visit from foregin country.

Hi. I keep getting direct visits from US while I live in the UK offering local photography service. Last year I had 1350 direct traffic and 88% were from the US.
Does this effect my seo,traffic ?
I am looking to attract more local , UK based customers.

What advice could you give me to improve this ? Is there an option to block site visitors outside the UK?
