squarespace & 'lazy loading'? should I be doing this?!

I had a client inquire about doing 'lazy loading' and now I'm in the rabbit hole reading online & deciding if I need to be doing something differently. 

I follow the seo guidelines for image uploads from Squarespace. I'm also adding some videos embedded into squarespace 7.1 ... is there something else I should be doing as far as 'lazy loading' goes?
