Footer not working

Hello. Ever since I started editing my site, the footer area isn't editable. When I click on "edit footer" button, it isn't active. Can anyone help?

I'm not sure what is going on here, but it's the type of error that you'll want to report to Squarespace Support, it's not something anyone on the forum will be able to troubleshoot effectively.

I also am having the same issue - I click to edit the footer and the button stops working and the footer is uneditable

I have been having this issue for about the same time period since November 2022.  I was trying to edit my footer and it was so static that the whole footer session accidentally got deleted. This is January 2023 and the footer area is still uneditable. I came here looking for answers.

Have you reported this to Squarespace Support?
