What code is needed to force landscape mode on mobile devices?

Hi,

I see a few people have asked similar questions without concrete solutions. Does anyone know a relatively simple code-injection to force landscape on mobile devices. I like how my site looks in Landscape mode and instead of adding new mobile friendly images I would like to force the website to show in landscape on phones. Before I reach out to programmers I was wondering if anyone has a solution here.

Given that this is a personal user setting on your phone, you're not going to be able to force a user's device to switch to landscape.

For myself I think if a website loaded sideways and optimized for desktop (i.e. small text and small buttons) I'm not realistically going to spend much time on the website. I would say that it's worth the effort to design a responsive website that is suited to being used on a phone.
