Ordering images in galleries: Is this broken for anyone else

I've brought this to Squarespace's attention before, but will continue to do so until it is fixed. Moving images around in a 7.1 gallery often reorders them randomly and renders changes completely ruined. Ordering images in galleries takes hours, when it should take minutes. Ordering images should be a core functionality of galleries; it is not a "nice to have". 

Perhaps if others complain, this huge defect will be fixed.

I would agree with you that this is something that I occasionally experience, but as an ongoing issue, it's not acceptable to have galleries randomly reordering and making life generally difficult. It's honestly something I've seen and reported on websites going back to 7.0, and still a problem in 7.1.
