switching from 7.0 to 7.1 without paying a new subscribtion

Hello! I have an old 7.0 website. I want to switch to 7.1. So I set up a new trial site with 7.1. But then it said I have to buy a new subscribtion. I couldnt get a 7.1 template from inside my website backend. I want to run 7.1. on my old subscribtion. Even The old website get's deleted. I dont need it anymore and want to build a new one from scratch anyways...

Any ideas?

Hey Klaus! 

If you're switching from 7.0 to 7.1, you should be able to reach out to Squarespace support and get refunded for the remaining months if you're paying the annual fee.
