Sending VIP Customers a preview of products

Hi!

I want to send my VIP customers an email 30 minutes before I push new clothing live, so that they can preview the clothing I have in my shop—but not shop them, in order to create some hype when they go live. How can I do this? I can't seem to get my products to appear as live, but not shoppable. I also want to find a way to do this in the most efficient way possible, i.e. not having to turn them all manually on/off every week. Thanks!
