Adding a vertical bar & narrowing a block

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to recreate some pages on https://www.getglowbar.com/ so I can put my Squarespace skills to test. This website relies on borders a lot in unconventional ways so that's what I'm trying to nail down first.

Does anyone know how to create the vertical border on a narrow block (section where it says "WHY GLOWBAR?", see Original Site.jpg attached)? I managed to rotate the text, but I can't seem to get the border go all the way through. I'm also figuring out how to get the block narrow enough so that it's the same width as the original site, but I haven't found a solution.

I attached a screenshot of my current site as well. 

Any insight would be super helpful! ♥️
