Mobile button side by side, default method

Hi,

i'm struggling to code the buttons side by side. All i see is codes for specific websites. I'd like to know how to do it manually myself. I understand all the principles just the block or section ID is a mystery. Where do i get the info about the ID, the chrome extension only shows block id which in all these codes isn't the right way to go.
