How do I move the "Sign In" off my main nav bar into the header or preferably a sub-tab?

How do I move the "Sign In" off my main nav bar into the header or preferably a sub-tab? Squarespace put it there and I can't get rid of it. I tried coding from another forum on here but it didn't work.

Try adding to Home > Design > Custom Css

#headerNav  .user-account-link {
  display: none;
}

I tried this and it didn't seem to do anything.

I'm using "julia and Sam" template on 7.0.

Any other things you'd recommend I try?

Do you mean you want to move the login button into a new line?
