'Hide sold out products' button in shop for customers

Dear all,

I have a small business selling hand made knits. I make knits made to order and ready-made. Often, single products are sold out but I don't want to remove them from the online shop as it shows the variety of what is possible to be made on demand. Still I know how annoying it can be to scroll and only see sold out products. Is there a way to code a "Hide sold out items" button in the shop for the customers?
