Adding photographer credits to images

Hi, 

I need an easy way to credit photographers on their photos that we use on our site, particularly on image cards and banners on index pages (we're on 7.0). 

Ideally just a little text overlay in the bottom right corner, but I can't think how to make that work. We use a few different photographers so it can't be the same thing for every photo. 

Any ideas/thoughts/suggestions?
