Redirect Header Logo to an external URL instead of the Squarespace homepage

We are moving to a site not using the Squarespace templates and are retaining legacy blog and podcast bages within the Squarespace templates.  All redirects are working with the exception of the legacy logo continuing to direct to the Squaresapce home page instead of the externally hosted home page.  Can this be accomplished with javascript in theheader of the Squarespace template?  A sample script would be greatly appreciated.

Add to Home > Settings > Advanced > Code Injection > Footer
