SS Calendar

We have found that the pop up box in the SS calendar makes navigating to other dates tricky.  Is it possible to remove the 'hover' & pop up box in calendar so that the links to the events info are accessed simply by clicking on the link within the calendar box listing itself?   Thank you.

You'll see on any particular date the box pops up and obscures the date next to it, which means the cursor has to be moved well away from the calendar before its possible to select anything from the next day.  Hope that makes sense.  We're hoping to get rid of the pop up boxes and leave straightforward click on links for each event on each date.
