Global Attributes./Variable Templates on Commerce Plan?

Hi.

We're considering moving our e-commerce business over to the SS platform but I don't see that SS offers global attributes or variable templates. This is incredibly important to us as we have 1000+ products—each requiring access to a global attribute/variables (i.e. general sizing, color options, product specific size options (with pricing), etc.)

It would be way too time intensive to have to identify each of these written out line by line in a CSV file. 

I may just be missing the option so I thought I'd put it out to your SS community.
