Custom customer made wishlist/tags/notifications plug in

I have a vintage furniture store that sells one off pieces. Customers are constantly asking if they can be put on "a list" for when a certain item comes into the store. I would like to be able to add this custom feature into my online store. It would be ideal if a customer could create their own "wishlist" of things they are searching for and then be notified when an item comes into the store that I have added a tag to that matches what they have tagged as a key word for their search. It would need to be able to do custom tags and broad searches as well. There are many times someone is just looking for a "round dining table" so if they could sign up for notifications on "round" "round table" "round dining table" "dining table" "table". Also people are sometimes hunting for very specific vintage pieces by a specific designer or company, for example... some one could search for "Braun" "Eames" "Bertoia". Kind of like the way Kijiji notifications work!
