Starting from scratch

How do I start with a completely blank home page? I want to get rid of the header, but cannot seem to delete this element.

Headers are always displayed unless you're on a cover page. However it's possible to hide the header with custom CSS on a per page basis. If you go to the Page Settings -> Code Injection and add this it should hide the header
