Index pages and SEO

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Just a quick question, I have been building pages using the index function but it has just dawned on me that if I now turn off the pages for SEO so you can't find the sections individually then that index page wont have any content to rank.

Am I right in thinking that each individual section would rank individually?

Does the Index structure allow for the content within to be ranked as one big page?

Thanks for any help.

Google does not rank a page on individual sections. Google evaluates all of the content on a page in context and then determines based on that content whether or not it would be related to any queries that someone makes.  Sometimes this is done on the fly using Rank Brain. But in general, it keeps the content in an index and evaluates it as a page - not as page sections.

You can hide sections of pages from search engines and in some cases this might be appropriate, for instance if those sections have private information on them.

thanks for the info! To tell you the truth, I'm actually the person who is occupied with all this seo stuff. Such forums is my salvation! However, not long ago I decided that I put too much responsibilities on myself and I don't manage to do everything I'm scheduling. So, I found https://crowdo.net/blog/crowd-marketing/ and looked through this source learning about how crowdo works. I was actually taken aback by the results they provide, so I decided to try their services and ease my whole schedule. Thank God( and these guys who wrote all these reviews), I finally gained my position in google search and they created a strong backlink profile, I was also shocked how this service increased traffic to my shop.

Google does now not rank a web page on character sections. Google evaluates all of the content on a web page in context after which determines based totally on that content material whether or not or not it'd be associated with any queries that a person makes.  Sometimes that is completed on the fly using Rank Brain. But in standard, it maintains the content material in an index and guide it as a web page - not as page sections.
