Cursor override code?

Hi! 

I really want to make a custom cursor and have found a bunch of threads about it but for some reason the things I'm trying aren't working...any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am trying to make my cursor a witch hat using this image: http://www.pixelartmaker.com/art/868825917c122cd

It works using this code but this is the wrong image-

body, html {
  cursor: url(http://www.picgifs.com/food-and-drinks/food-and-drinks/eggs/food-and-drinks-eggs-252212.gif), pointer;

is there something wrong with image I'm using? Thanks!!!
