Locked site with a public cover page

Hi all,

I was wanting to know if it was possible to create a simple cover page with an image/contact info and then have a click-through button which takes you to a password protected page to access the rest of the website. The idea is for people to still see the basic info, but those with the password can access the rest of the site without landing on a locked screen straight away.
