Audio in background as user navigates site?

I would like to have audio/music playing in the background as users navigate from page to page throughout my site. Is there a way to accomplish this? I would want it to start when you first hit the homepage and then continuously play seamlessly when you click to another page of the site without starting over or any interruption.

You need to use custom code to do this. 

It is very difficult and I think there is no sample code for this
