automate the removal of a blog post

Can a blog post be automated to drop from view? Hi! The blog system works to present workshops on this client's page here: https://www.adishesha.com/workshops ...but once the workshop date/s have passed, I have to manually (put the expiry date in my schedule) take the page down. Background:Depending on the time of year, there can be 10 to 20 workshops on the go and I use categories to make the workshops show on the page and play with publishing dates to make them display in the right order.... but so far, I can't find a way to make each workshop drop automatically after the event has happened!
