  1. Solved. You need to omit .example.com at the end of the DNS name record. see https://stackoverflow.com/questions/78263100/squarespace-dns-records-not-propagating/78263101#78263101
  2. I'm trying to validate my domain with AWS ACM so I can host my website on CloudFront. However (and I've now gone through this process twice), when I add my ACM-generated CNAME and data to my SquareSpace DNS records, they don't propagate. I've been checking propagation on https://www.whatsmydns.net/ with both the CNAME and domain name itself. I waited out the full extent of my first attempt until my ACM validation timed out (72hrs), and now the same is happening again. Not sure if I missed a setting or something to enable DNS changes for my domain, but that's my guess because SquareSpace is first and foremost a website builder platform, not a domain manager for external hosting. However, I couldn't find anything about this online or on the domain management page/s, other than the fact that SquareSpace DNS propagation is unusually slow... My next move is to just transfer the domain out of SquareSpace and into AWS Route 53, but am hesitating on this because SquareSpace lists a rather annoying 3 week transfer period to do so. If you have any recommendations or insight into what might be going on here, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, Liam
