Help changing font heading size

I realize you can click on fonts->headings->size. My issue is that when I change the size on Heading 3 it messes up other parts of the website. I would like to change it so the homepage shows Header 3 at size (3.2rem) but I would like the other Heading sizes to show up smaller on the other pages. Hopefully someone can help me.
