This really needs to be added... for a user that doesn't need a lot of functionality with their email setup and doesnt want to use an external service like mailchimp it should be a no brainer to allow a subscriber to choose which mailing lists they would like to subscribe to without having to fill out multiple forms or newsletters. A simple column of check boxes with the choice of mailing lists under one form/newsletter block would not be a hard implementation. Also, If the subscriber clicks the unsubscribe button, they should also be given the choice of which mailing lists they would like to stay on without being automatically unsubscribed to all of them.
