Thank you. Once I removed the CSS and added in the new code, the option to change the vertical padding on the header hasn't reappear, should it have done?

Can you help? I want to change the vertical padding in my site header, so there is a little more space above the page links, I don't seem to get this as an option when I go to 'edit site header' , can I use CSS instead? Many thanks.
