Yeah perfect! That's the exact effect I'm looking for - it'd be even better there's a way to have the background be playable videos (lol), but no worries if not, I know that's a way bigger ask 😂

luckily i understood in time that squarespace is not a reliable web editor service before moving to annual membership: if you remove such important features as gallery blocks, to make them accessible only to elite members (of the magic circle), you will become so unpopular that you are destined to fail.

This is so strange, why take the option of adding a video in a gallery block, this was super useful when you wanted to use the light box functionality to play a video.Â
Plus why is the old gallery still there when making a blog but you can access it anywhere else.Â

Having a portfolio of gallery pages with images,  I thought  adding a video in sequence to the images in a gallery would be a no-brainer.
Guess not.
Can't believe this was an option that was dropped.Â
