Problem solved! I received another screen recording from tech support for this procedure. https://share.squarespace.com/nOulxR5b What is more obvious in this screen recording is that I must select the PDF file that I've uploaded and a check will appear next to it (see attached screenshot — the check is next to the cursor). Unless the PDF is selected with the check mark appearing, the link will not work when saved. There could be more emphasis on the support video on selecting and the check mark appearing. It appears other designers are running into the same problem.

@tuanphan, not yet solved. I received a reply from Support with a couple of options and will be working on it later today.

@derricksrandomviews, I believe I have followed the steps listed in your link, but when testing the PDF for download, it does not work. I'm working on a trial site not yet live — does trial site have anything to do with not being able to download the PDF?
