Could Squarespace advise as to the progress of this issue?

I’ve sent a bug report to Squarespace and they replied: “i can confirm that this is an issue on our end, where we're receiving reports from some users that they are unable to access that specific panel and some background images are not loading. I have shared your report with our engineering team and they’re currently prioritizing the issue.”

Where has "image effects" gone for background images? The lack of parallax options in Squarespace 7.1 is baffling and now to lose "image effects" isn't helpful.
