  1. Site URL: https://www.boutique14.co.uk Hi, How can I introduce some space to the sides of the three images on my homepage? See red squiggles on attached screenshot. When I use spacer blocks the images resize and I can't get them all the same size again. I can't re-size the spacer blocks sufficiently to make it work (there's a minimum width). Is there either some CSS to make spacer blocks more width adjustable or some other way I could put a margin or padding around those three images to bring them in a little? Thanks.
  2. Squarespace Customer Service asked me to delete all Custom CSS. I did that and it didn't fix the problem. So having tinkered around in a browser inspect all the elements, I came up with the following and it fixed whatever is going wrong on the back end. Hope it helps others: .Index-gallery-item-inner h2 { font-size: 14px; line-height: 24px; letter-spacing: 1.5px; } .Index-gallery-item-inner p { font-size: 12px; line-height: 50px; letter-spacing: 1.5px; }
  3. Site URL: https://www.boutique14.co.uk/ Hi, this one's driving me mad. I followed this guide https://paigebrunton.com/blog/sauarespace-rotating-testimonials to make a rotating customer quotes/testimonials section on my homepage. I am using Foster template, part of Brine family. It worked really well and everything was going great when I initially tested it. Then, as I was tweaking line spacing for gallery body content in Site Styles, suddenly there was a glitch or something and now the text won't show up. I've tried changing all the relevant Site Styles settings, and the section called "Gallery Content" or whatever shows up and the font is set to dark grey, so it's not a white font on white background issue. The gallery slideshow is definitely there, I can tell because click thru links still work, but the text doesn't show. I have raised a ticket with SS, but don't hold out much hope. Has anyone else had problems with title and body text showing up on galleries, and if so how did you fix it? I've inspected the HTML in browser and it seems font size is set to zero (this is not the case in Site Styles by the way!). This must be SS's way of not showing title and body text in a gallery but keeping it as alt-text I guess. p.s. you can see attached where the quotes are supposed to show, between the two big, pink markdown quotation marks. Thanks.
  4. Site URL: https://www.boutique14.co.uk/ When viewed in the Facebook mobile app in-built browser my site has a strange border on the right hand side. I can't see what could be creating this, there are no borders set on my site. On Safari and other mobile browsers it looks normal. I attach two screenshots, one showing what the Facebook app does with my site, the other showing how it should look (on Safari in this example). Any ideas? Thanks.
  5. Thank you as ever. Is there any way I can keep the height of the blocks at 18px in normal layout and achieve the same effect? 50px is a bit too deep when the text is all on one line. Thanks. (You're great by the way).
  6. Site URL: https://www.boutique14.co.uk/home1 Hi, Bit of a tricky one (for me). On this page: https://www.boutique14.co.uk/home1 I have three markdown boxes underneath images. On desktop they look fine (see attached image). They are the ones with a pink background saying "Personal Service"; "Custom Samples"; "Matching Stationery". However, on a screen size where the text goes over onto two lines the markdown box obviously changes shape to accommodate. This can be on any device, but a good example is on mobile in landscape (see second attached image). This throws out the visuals on this section of the page and looks messy. Is there some way I can CSS it so that if one box goes over onto two lines then they all do? Thanks.
  7. Site URL: https://www.boutique14.co.uk/home1 Hi, I'm trying to reduce the padding between the Insta block in the top footer and next section of top footer beneath it. See attached image. Tried messing around with CSS on that block and the one underneath but can't get it to work. Help gratefully received. Thank you. Tom www.boutique14.co.uk/home1
  8. Site URL: https://www.boutique14.co.uk/home1 Hi, trying to configure the footer navigation. I am happy with a centered stacked layout on desktop, but on mobile it's all bunched too closely together and I'm concerned about accessibility because the links are too close together. It would be good if on mobile only I could either space the links out more, or use columns. I'm messing about with this CSS: @media screen and (max-width: 640px) { .Footer-bottom { layout: columns } } It doesn't work. Could do with some help please. Thank you.
