How to get the Stacked Gallery effect from the classic editor on a current up to date page

You mean left with black background, some text, button 

and right side is a slideshow

You can create 2 sections: top is black section, second is gallery slideshow

then share page url, we can give code to make 2 sections side by side

I use the basic business plan, aiming to position the slideshow on the left side of the text section.

You can use this code to Website > Website Tools > Custom CSS

}

    width: 50% !important;
    padding: 0 !important;
    height: 100vh !important;
}

Note: this page has 2 sections only so I use this code, but if your page has 3 or more sections, we will need to use another code

You can edit text section to adjust width/size
