Syncing donations taken through Squarespace to Quickbooks

Hi all.

I have Quickbooks set up with Squarespace so that sales receipts are created in Quickbooks with every website purchase.
We use Stripe and PayPal to collect money.

We added a donate button to the website and donations made through PayPal appear fine in Quickbooks. But we recently had a donation paid through Stripe and that isn't syncing with the accounts, so it will mean a manual entry to reconcile it.

I've spoken with Quickbooks and they say they can only sync sales receipts, so donations are omitted. 

Does anyone have any ideas, please?

Needing the same function for Non-Profits. I don't sell products. Just need a Donation Sync to QBO button.
