Reduce height of code block in editor

Hi there, Im working with a code block that does not need much height. When editing, I cannot reduce the height due to the way the code and block is displayed in the visual editor. This also means I cannot reduce the section row counts to reduce the height of the section either. Any suggestions for a workaround, please see attached? Many thanks.
