Google ads clicks not changing analytics numbers

Hi there, 

Currently running google ads, when the ads are showing 30-40 clicks on the day, the squarespace analytics is showing only 5-8 people on the site. Just wanted to see if I have connected them correctly, am I missing something? Any help on this would be appreciated, thank you.
