It's 2022 and Squarespace still can't deal with HEIC images from iPhone! What is going on?

Two years ago I thought it was because they were new (and more efficient) now I think it's ridiculous poor service. Why not at least offer help that's easy to find on how to convert?

I just joined Squarespace today and I have a MAC with thousands of iPhoto's.  I wanted to create a website for my dogs activities.  When I tried to drag & drop from iPhoto, Squarespace would not let me.  I just canceled my Hostgator because a friend said squarespace was easier for beginners.  Now I'm thinking not.

How am I going to get all my iPhoto's & iVideo's to this website.  Ugh!!!  Now I may have to go back to Hostgator & Wordpress.
