square vs. squarespace

I recently had a client move their business all over to Square. I have been a Squarespace user and supporter for years so I am saddened to say I see the future and it is Square. At least for small business. It uses the weebly platform which is far behind Squarespace in most ways but given to advantages to the overall business it is an unfortunate compromise worth accepting. It's too bad Squarespace corporate didn't figure out how to integrate with Square as I'm sure there were negotiations. The reality is the owners of small business are going to drive this decision and many will soon be wedded to Square.
