drop in AND unlimited subscriptions?

Hi, I'm setting up a virtual yoga studio, and I want students to be able to either pay a drop in or purchase an unlimited monthly subscription. Can I have both payment options pertain to the same class? Does the scheduler know if a student has an active subscription, or will it try to charge them the regular (drop-in) price for the class?

Do they have to pay for the subscription first before signing up for a class, or will the subscription be a payment option when they check out?
