Trying to create a full bleed top and bottom gallery block slideshow wells template

I am wanting to create a full bleed both top-bottom and side to side, maximum sized gallery block that I can use as a slideshow portfolio for uncropped images that are various formats for fine art photography website, wells template.   some images are vertical, some square, some horiz and some wide panoramas, and the gallery block auto sizes to the height of the wide panoramas and thus shows all the images quite small as soon as I add the panoramas to the gallery.  I would like to be able to fix it at maximum full bleed and have the images center themselves within the full bleed box, similar to how they do on a gallery page but I am wanting the design flexibility of using type blocks above and below the gallery block that are not available when using slideshow gallery pages.  site is still under construction, link is https://dandelion-lemon-z2l2.squarespace.com/ , password is surfinGhermit10% . Current homepage is a gallery page autoplay slideshow created with code injection and CSS for adding some lines of type at top, but I would prefer to be able to create a page something like the URL shown above, https://dandelion-lemon-z2l2.squarespace.com/gallery-block-page-1.   To illustrate the problem with the gallery block, here is what happens to that same page when I add a panorama image to the gallery. https://dandelion-lemon-z2l2.squarespace.com/gallery-block-page-2 , and if I add an even narrower panorama image, this is what happens to it. https://dandelion-lemon-z2l2.squarespace.com/gallery-block-page-3    I want the first three images, the ones that are in gallery block page 1, to stay at the size they show in gallery block page 1 and not shrink down because I add the panoramas to the gallery.  Hoping someone has written code already that will do this, but could not find any by searching, and nothing at all for wells template that would do this.  If code does not exist already, looking for an estimate of what it might cost.  I have the premium account so code injection is an option.  I am not conversant with coding, other than simple copy paste of snippets or the code injection autoplay slideshow I used.
