Scaling down the Index gallery for tablet and mobile view

This has been driving me crazy for a while now and I would appreciate any help with this.

I would like the index gallery slideshow to appear exactly as it is on the desktop view for Tablet and Mobile

But when I go into Tablet and mobile view, certain images get cropped at the sides.

Is it possible to scale down the entire index gallery slideshow using media queries to keep the desktop proportions?

I'm using the Brine family (Greenwich Interior Design template)
