Images Being Compressed

Can someone tell me I'm not crazy here? My images are appearing compressed after uploading to my site. See attached:

Original PNG on left at 100% - Uploaded version on site at right

Considering mine is purposed as a portfolio site, I find the compression unacceptable. There's a clear difference between the two to a keen eye.

Can anyone help me figure this out?
