Donate Button Directly to Checkout

Is there a way to direct the donor straight from a "Donate" button on the Header to the checkout page without having to go to an intermediary donation page with a donation block?

I would also like to know how to do this! 

I just spent some time discussing with support and this is not possible currently. I submitted a feature request to add the functionality. 

If this is important to you, please submit a feature request as well so that Squarespace knows this is a desired improvement. Thanks!
