JonAvery
Hi, I am trying to add an embedded github code snippet on my website. When I paste the github gist javascript snippet onto my site, I get a little block saying "Script Disabled" and a message saying I won't be able to view/execute the script on my site while I'm logged in and editing. However, I can get past this by just clicking a "Preview in Safe Mode" button inside the block. This displays the github gist code snippet properly. I save my changes. However, once I view the website as a normal user would (logged out, no edit mode, private browsing, etc.) I don't see anything where the code should be. I've tried a variety of different blocks - embedded, code, markdown. I've dug through old forum posts and tried other online solutions but nothing seems to work. Any help would be really appreciated. Solutions and resources I've tried / looked into already: http://paulofierro.com/blog/2015/1/27/embedding-gists-on-squarespace https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:Hnh1PR0XXcEJ:https://answers.squarespace.com/questions/177039/script-disabled-when-trying-to-embed-third-party-s.html+&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=firefox-b-1-d https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:D5v3fZvorlkJ:https://answers.squarespace.com/questions/8844/how-can-i-embed-a-gist-snippet-into-the-blog.html+&cd=11&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=firefox-b-1-d Link to comment
