  1. You can do this by adding the following code and changing the "transparent" to a hex code if you want a color instead: div.subnav {background-color: transparent !important;}
  2. Looks like this solution may work for you instead: https://answers.squarespace.com/questions/245578/how-to-remove-lines-under-links-without-losing-the.html
  3. This guide here can help with adding text to banner image areas and special banner types. For example, adding a button to the Bedford template banner: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/206545097 For Charlotte specifically, you'll want to create an Index Page, and then within that Index Page add a Regular Page. The Regular Page should have a thumbnail image on it to act as the banner, then when you edit the page, add a Button Block. The other pages can be placed within the index to make it look like a single page. https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205816088

  8. Yeah anytime you paste text from an outside source you run the risk of the text maintaining it's old formatting. You need to run the text through the paste as plain text option or remove existing formatting issues. Squarespace has a guide to address all of this here: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205813908-Fixing-text-formatting
  9. The <style> </style> tags aren't for the Custom CSS Editor. Remove those and you'll be all set. Her code with the style tags is to place inside the Page Header Code Injection of particular pages to isolate the code specifically to those pages: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205815908#toc-per-page-code-injection

  11. Make sure to grab your own block ID for this. You can remove the border style and stuff too if you don't want that.
