  1. This looks like a really solid workaround which requires leaving that page in the portfolio. Very useful if the page does belong in the portfolio. But is there any way of getting a portfolio sub-page - or at least a copy of the page's content - out of the portfolio, to use only elsewhere in the site? I spent a while working on a particular page in my portfolio section, and only after finishing the page, realized it didn't really belong in the portfolio section to begin with. (ugh.) Also, I notice using that Add Link Item method to put the portfolio page into main navigation - in addition to leaving the page in the portfolio - also means the "Page Settings" tools aren't available for that page in the site edit menu. (No "disable page" toggle switch, for instance). Right now I'm wondering if it would work (if it's even possible) to copy and paste the code from that portfolio page onto a new regular page. Will keep looking....
