  1. Looks like the feature image is getting set to an image-block and the rest of the imported post is getting set within an HTML block. (the yui_...306 is the featured image; yui...477 is the rest of the blog post) Then clicking Edit is when the transformation happens to change them to multiple image-blocks.
  2. Update. I exported from WP with from the posts radio button. That removes the duplicate feature image in the post itself, but also does not show it in the blog main page. Maybe there's some css that I should add to hide that main feature image in the individual posts. I also removed the encoded carriage return character, leaving the new lines in the file, but that had no impact on the SquareSpace import. The carriage returns where there would have been a br are missing, showing everything as wrapped text.
  3. Site URL: https://coyote-pentagon-k4wx.squarespace.com/ I'm in my trial period. My biggest reason for hesitance is the wordpress blog import. The posts appear to be in order. But there are a few issues right now: In WP I'd usually use the featured image as the first image within the post content. It appears that the featured image is being inserted by SquareSpace at the beginning of the post. I'd rather not edit all of the posts to delete the duplicate image The .xml lines that would have been br within WP have this character. \x{0D} Do I need to delete that from the file? Or just replace with br? I would go in to edit the posts themselves, but the formatting changes between the view and edit. Aside from the lack of carriage returns and the duplicate feature image, the rest of the format is as expected while viewing the post. When I click Edit, though, all the images relocate to the top as separate image boxes, all showing the caption option (the regular post correctly does not show the caption), and all the text is moved into a single text box at the bottom of the page. This makes editing the post extremely difficult. Minor issue that may be outside of SquareSpace assistance: is there a way to autoassign the author of the posts to myself? It appears the export didn't add a post_author field within the .xml
