From simple database control to HIPAA to plain marketing, the Profiles aspect is clean but sucks on so many levels.
Can't delete a profile? I have an individual profile that showed up but have no clue where it came from... can't remove. I want to upload profiles but can only upload name and email? Why can't I bulk add tags? I can download the profiles with all historic info, the reverse should be available as well. Would LOVE to sell database aspect within Squarespace, but the lack of controls over the info keeps me from fully advertising this add-on. Would love to see a built in database feature IF we want SS to be an all-in-one tool. -

I'm sorry but the inability to remove a customer's sensitive information or make corrections to it, cannot be legal. Squarespace must answer to this, currently there is no way to manage subscribers or remove them from the database. That is grossly unacceptable, with questionable legality.

This is utterly ridiculous. I was building out a campaign, adding in contacts manually when I realised that the email names were pre-loaded from a previous test and would completely mess up the campaign I was planning on building out. I was even going to pay for a google workspace email to avoid flagging as spam when sending my campaign out.
I cannot believe that there is no option to edit the names of subscribers or remove subscribers if there is a problem with the formatting of the name of a subscriber. Utter madness, squarespace. Shame on you.

This is legitimately ridiculous. So much of squarespace's features are such a monumental let down, missing basic functionality.
